إذا كنت لا تريد خطة التأمين الصحي للطلاب، فيجب عليك رفض التغطية أو إلغاء الاشتراك فيها عن طريق تقديم إعفاء. يمكنك إلغاء الاشتراك في التغطية فقط خلال فترات الإعفاء التالية:

Students will be enrolled in the plan unless you submit a waiver

All domestic students are required to enroll in D'Youville's Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) . The insurance fee will be charged to students' accounts. If you have alternative health insurance coverage, you may waive your enrollment in the SHIP.

لإعفاء الطلاب من برنامج التأمين الصحي للطلاب (SHIP)، يشترط D'Youville University تقديم ما يثبت حصولهم على تغطية تأمينية مماثلة لتلك التي يوفرها برنامج التأمين الصحي للطلاب (SHIP) في جامعة ديوفيل. يُرجى العلم بأن طلب الإعفاء سيخضع للمراجعة والتحقق من سريانه لدى شركة التأمين. 

Waiver Requirements:

1. Coverage must be active with the expectation that coverage will continue for the rest of the academic year 8/1/26 - 7/31/27.
2. Coverage must be issued by an insurance company based in the U.S.
3. Coverage must be ACA-compliant, meaning your plan:
   • Does not have limitations or exclusions for pre-existing conditions.
   • Provides the 10 Essental Health Benefits required by the ACA.
   • Does not have per year or lifetime benefit maximums on the Essential Health Benefits.
4. Coverage must allow the insured student to receive routine medical care within a 50 mile radius of the Buffalo, NY campus (plans that only cover emergency care will not be accepted).

The following types of plans do not meet the above criteria:

• Out-of-state Medicaid
• Out-of-state HMOs (including Kaiser Permanente HMOs)
• Healthcare Sharing/Ministry Cost Sharing Plans
• International Plans
• Travel Plans
